NotanIzer 3.01

The Nōtan concept is a fundamental design principle in Japanese art, emphasizing the interplay of light and dark elements within a composition. An exemplification of this philosophy can be found in the Yin Yang symbol. Incorporating Nōtan into artistic compositions offers artists a valuable tool for discerning the arrangement of light and dark areas in their projects.

The first feature of NotanIzer facilitates the division of an image into black and white, with colors above a specific threshold rendered as white, and those below as black. This line can be adjusted using a slider, allowing for enhanced detailing that might otherwise be obscured.

The second and third features present the image in either grayscale or color, enabling artists to concentrate on the structure and overall design.

The remaining three functions are dedicated to setting levels. Artists can choose between 3, 4, or up to 10 color levels distributed across black, gray, and white palettes. The first two options provide sliders to adjust the positioning of these levels, while the "Levels" function divides the image evenly based on the chosen number.
